The National Gallery
The Grand Tour
Award winning, innovative campaign to bring some of The National Gallery’s most famous works to the people
In the summer of 2007 The National Gallery set some of it's most popular paintings free onto the streets of Central London. Working with the gallery, project sponsor HP, and branding agency The Partners, ‘The Grand Tour’ was bought to life by creating a series of interactive elements to help the man on the street get the most out of it. This included a website with full event details, downloadable audio guides with commentary from some of the galleries' resident experts, and interactive maps enabling the user to plan their own 'Grand Tour'.
Produced: Microsite / mobile phone audio guides / podcasts / interactive maps
